On Site: Arc en Ciel has a small games rooms with darts, table tennis and a library. We also have badminton, lilos for the pool and a selection of board games and boulles. Our chickens will likely be the star attraction for the children!
Hautforte: this is a charming hilltop village fames for its magnificent chateau, pretty historic streets, local markets and beautiful views across the surrounding Périgord countryside.
Brantôme: is a beautiful riverside town known for its picturesque canals, historic abbey, charming cafés and restaurants, with kayaking and canoeing on the River Dronne making it a great spot for a leisurely day out.



Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche: is a charming historic town known for its medieval old quarter, pretty streets, traditional markets, local porcelain and relaxed cafés, making it a lovely place to explore and soak up the atmosphere of the Limousin.
Ségur-le-Château: is a beautifully preserved medieval village steeped in history, with its impressive château ruins, timber-framed houses and charming food markets offering a taste of the local Périgord and Limousin produce.
Grotte de Villars: is a fascinating underground cave featuring impressive stalactites, stalagmites and prehistoric cave paintings, offering an interesting glimpse into the region’s natural and ancient history.



Café Nicki: is a relaxed garden café offering an idyllic outdoor setting, making it a lovely spot to enjoy good food and drinks surrounded by the peaceful French countryside. Open July and August - set times.
Rouffiac Lake: is a beautiful family-friendly lake offering plenty of activities including swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing, fishing and water skiing, as well as walking and cycling around the surrounding countryside.
Montignac: is a charming riverside town known for its historic old streets, lively markets, cafés and restaurants, and its location on the Vézère River makes it a great base for exploring the famous prehistoric sites and caves of the Dordogne.

Jumilhac-le-Grand: is a picturesque historic village best known for its fairytale château, pretty streets and traditional markets, with lovely walks and scenic countryside surrounding the village.
Rocamadour: is a spectacular medieval cliffside village famed for its ancient pilgrimage site, dramatic setting, historic buildings and sanctuary, with wonderful views and charming streets to explore.



Excideuil: is a charming historic market town known for its impressive medieval château, traditional Thursday market, pretty old streets and local cafés, making it a lovely spot to experience the relaxed character of the Périgord Vert.
Payzac: is a peaceful Périgord Vert village surrounded by beautiful countryside, known for its traditional charm, local heritage and scenic walking trails, making it a lovely spot to explore at a slower pace.
Arnac-Pompadour: is a charming village best known for its impressive Château de Pompadour and strong equestrian heritage, with the National Stud and racecourse making it a fascinating stop for horse lovers.
